- Hello,
-
- I've got a Bernoulli drive that's failing occasionally. When you
- insert a disk, it spins up, makes some accessing sounds, then spins
- down and dismounts (the green light goes off and the cartridge may be
- removed). I've tested different cables, macs, and I'm using driver
- 3.4.2 on system 6.0.7. The drive does work fine when it's not having
- this problem, so I'm confused. Does anyone have a clue on what
- to do next? Is it worth fixing? How anout scrapping it for parts?
- (Especially when 90Mb drives can be purchased for $500.)
-
- Thanks.
