- Hi, I just got a Magic Magneto Optical. I have a Quadra700, and I already had
- an Apple CD-ROM hooked to the SCSI line.
- The problem is that when I try to connect the Magic, the SCSI get crazy, and
- the quadra cannot startup. It seems that it doesn't recognize the
- internal hard
- disk at SCSI address 0, but starting from a floppy is also impossible.
- The hard disk is making some noise, then everything
- that appear is the little floppy with 0? flashing.
- I tried everything. It cannot be the termination or the cable, because I
- try to put on the MO instead of the CD-ROM, with the same cable and
- termination
- I had. I tryed all the possible SCSI address for the Magic, and I always
- got the same effect.
-
- Does somebody got an idea about what the problem can be? I will call Magic
- on Tuesday, but if I can solve the problem alone it would be better.
-
- Please e-mail me, I will post a follow-up with the results of this.
