- Perhaps they have the same opinion of you? I don't want to start a flame war
- here, but it seems to me that -every- post I've read from you has nothing at
- all constructive to say about Blyth or Omnis. Tell me, did someone tie your
- hands behind your back, sit you at a computer and -force- you to program in
- Omnis for eight hours a day?
-
- I will be the first to admit that Blyth's tech support isn't up to the level of
- a WordPerfect, but then Blyth isn't WP's size. I've had no problems with Blyth
- returning my calls, or working with me to solve a technical glitch (perhaps
- it's
- one reason they invited me to beta test...). If we are to equate tech support,
- I
- would have to place Blyth's with ACIUS'. "You're not supposed to do that
- (multi-
- level searching using Boolean logic programmatically)" was one response I
- received from the 4D guys.
-
- At least Blyth doesn't -charge- me for every phone call, every tech note, and
- every aftermarket external or add-on. So lighten up, Jerry. I have yet to see
- the "perfect" Mac RDBMS. Or the "perfect" RDBMS, period.
