- Has anyone seen the Script Editor yet? Are we talking more functional
- macros now or is this still fairly limited.
-
- One thing I'd like to see is the ability for scripts to execute the same
- commands that buttons can drive. Also, I'd like to pass some parameters
- into scripts/commands, bypassing the user in some cases.
-
- A primary need/use for this is a single button that, when clicked on,
- will move the cursor to a field and perform a relookup with no dialog box
- for confirmation. Currently, I have to manually select the involved
- field, perform the relookup and confirm the relookup in (xxx) records.
- This
- is a pain in the xxx!
-
- Anyway, is the new Script Editor worth looking at? How about Lookups -
- are they more flexible? Any changes to Summary or Calculation fields?
-
- Looking forward to the new release regardless,
