  10. A good friend phoned me today frantically stating that
  11. her IBM PC XT clone suffered a "hard disk boot failure"
  12. and then when she attempted to boot from a 
  13. floppy the system came up with the cryptic message,
  14. "Your computer is stoned."  I presume her difficulties
  15. are, at least in part, due to a virus.  Am I
  16. correct?
  17.  
  18. Is this a known virus and is there any way to recover
  19. her data?
  20.  
  21. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.  Please e-mail 
  22. to me.  I will summarize any successful solution(s)
  23. for the net.
