  12. I read an article asking for a diag. program to check the setup of a new PC 
  13. to make sure it is as per. the vendors specs. A program called MSD comes
  14. with Windows 3.1 that gives info on ports (com and lpt), irq's, installed
  15. device drivers, and other important stuff. It can be found on the 'windows'
  16. directory of anyone who has win 3.1(not 3.0, I think). Most people don't 
  17. know it is there. It has been a great help to me when making IO hardware 
  18. setup changes. And it is cheep(free) if you already have windows 3.1- and
  19. if you dont, you should.
