- not to disagree with you, but I spoke with someone at Ariel Design,
- which use the same micronics VL-bus motherboards that will be in the
- gateway dx2-66, and they are selling a VESA local bus version of
- the ATI graphics ultra pro, 24-bit color at 640x480, 16-bit at
- 1024x768, and 8-bit at 1280x1024. they claim a 4x increase over
- the graphics ultra, and the upgrade price, with a machine, is $500.
- This looks great, but they only have limited quantities available, and
- their prices are high because they use really nice name-brand
- components in their machines.
