  12. Are there any decent FAX programs for IBM & compatibles?  I tried several
  13. programs, and they stink.  Blastfax from US Robotics is still buggy...
  14. I tried sending a fax the other day and for the date, it put
  15. SeptemberOctoberNovember 9, 1992... I try Winfax Pro, and if this is the
  16. best Windows fax program out there, then the PC is in big trouble.
  17. Winfax Pro has the barest essential functions to send a fax.  The program
  18. won't even let you preview a fax before sending it.  There are no desktop
  19. publishing features in it.  You can't preview your coverpage at all, and
  20. can only preview the other pages after it sends the fax (what's the point of
  21. PREview?)
  22.    Basically, I'm looking for a good FAX program that will let me compose
  23. a fax very much like the way I would do it with paper.  For example, some
  24. cut and paste features, using the mouse to draw lines and pictures on the
  25. page, custom place .PCX and embed other graphic formats onto the page (kinda
  26. like BBN Slate), place text where I want.  Basically, a fax program with
  27. some desktop publishing features would be really nice...it doesn't have to
  28. be Pagemaker quality, but at least have these basic features.  Composing
  29. faxes should be easy...Winfax Pro makes it a chore. (Can't imagine what
  30. regular Winfax is like...)
