- Best advice - choose the flavor of UNIX and X you are going to run
- and look at what is required and what is supported. Each vendor has
- a list of requirements, and a *SHORT* list of what will work.
- For example, most of the Intel-based UNIX variants will work with the
- Adaptec 154x SCSI and maybe one or two others. You will find your choices
- are much more limited than with DOS/Windows, etc.
