  38. Probably the Syquest.  Bernoullis, at least in the 20+20 days, were
  39. notoriously unreliable.  My cleaning cartridge got used almost
  40. as much as my data cartridges.

  42. The important question you left out:  Who offers better support?
  43. Syquest by a light year.  They currently have a 2 year old drive of mine
  44. doing a free upgrade to fix a problem with it functioning with an 
  45. Adaptec controller.  The entire upgrade involves changing just about
  46. everything except the chassis and front bezel.  Before they decided
  47. I needed an upgrade, they spent hours with me troubleshooting the 
  48. problem and sent me several revisions of software in an attempt to 
  49. work around the problem.

  54. I've attached my Syquest to everything in the shop, ranging from my Unix
  55. system to a Trantor parallel port adaptor with 100% success.
