- Syquest, by a LARGE margin.

-
- Draw. Depends on the discounter.

- Syquest. Looks like a standard SCSI device.

- Syquest. Ditto.

-
- Probably the Syquest. Bernoullis, at least in the 20+20 days, were
- notoriously unreliable. My cleaning cartridge got used almost
- as much as my data cartridges.
-
- The important question you left out: Who offers better support?
- Syquest by a light year. They currently have a 2 year old drive of mine
- doing a free upgrade to fix a problem with it functioning with an
- Adaptec controller. The entire upgrade involves changing just about
- everything except the chassis and front bezel. Before they decided
- I needed an upgrade, they spent hours with me troubleshooting the
- problem and sent me several revisions of software in an attempt to
- work around the problem.
-
- Bernoulli? Well they (used to?) have a BBS...
-
-
- I've attached my Syquest to everything in the shop, ranging from my Unix
- system to a Trantor parallel port adaptor with 100% success.
