- This is not necessary if you run the latest version of the CMS
- tape backup software (version 2.54 is the first version that will work
- under Windows 3.1). I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the
- virtualized floppy driver took care of all of the timing problems.
- Being able to keep the bus timing to the default value is very nice,
- as lowering the bus on time decreases disk throughput. [ As a side
- note, if you don't have a copy of Roy Neese's SETSCSI program, get it.
- It allows you to set/reset the bus timing parameters on the fly --
- very useful for the DJ-20. You can get a copy via anonymous ftp from
- ftp.psg.com (look in /pub/adaptec/). ]
