- I have an IBM SCSI controller with an IBM 120MB drive. I'm interested
- in the procedure for adding more devices, HD, tape, CD-ROM, from non-IBM
- sources. I've borrowed several SCSI hard drives and tried adding them but
- it didn't work. The SCSI diagnostics recognized there was another device
- on the bus and got the SCSI address right but thought it was a removable
- non-hard disk type device.
-
- I'm sure it's possible to do this (I've read of people using Fujitsu drives)
- but I want to be sure first. Is there some special type of drive required?
- SCSI-II perhaps? What about the order, I tried the new drive first and
- last on the chain (changing the terminators as required) but still it wasn't
- recognized.
-
- Any hints?!

- Thanks,
