- Can SCSI users please send me recommendations for interface cards.
-
- Requirements:
- 16bit ISA
- floppy controller for 2 floppies
- internal and external SCSI bus connections
-
- Would eventually like to have HD (213M Maxtor?), CD-ROM (?),
- and tape (Archive Viper?).
-
- Questions:
- Are device drivers required for things besides HD? (ie, tape, cd-rom)
- (device drivers at extra cost?)
-
- Can DOS/WINDOWS support > 2 HD?
-
- Can the floppy controller also support the mini-cartridge tape drive?
- (ie, Summit Express SE250 or Jumbo 250)
-
- Is SCSI-2 100% compatible w/ SCSI? (I know - ignorant question)
- Can SCSI and SCSI-2 devices share same bus?
-
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Art
