  14. I usually "hang out" in the sun workstation newsgroups, so I'm not sure
  15. if this is the right forum for my question.  If not, please enlighten me!

  17. One of my buddies (who I'm always boasting to, along the lines of "I can get
  18. the answer to any question 10 times faster on the net than any other way")
  19. has a C. Itoh Model M-8510 dot matrix printer which he has just connected to
  20. a Leading Edge Model D PC.  The printer works, but seems to insert extra
  21. line feeds and escape characters into the printout.  I suspect the DIP 
  22. switches on the printer are incorrectly set, but there may be some totally
  23. well known explanation in the PC world.

  25. In any case, my buddy has no manual for the printer.  Could someone please
  26. e-mail me a list of the DIP switch functions, and perhaps a comment about how
  27. to correct the printer problem described above?
