- I called this one in a while ago, and got basically the same response
- you did - "telnetd/rlogind works that way" and the engineer, after
- having a mild chuckle over the users predicament, saw
- no reason this should be considered a bug. It locked out the user
- who put a '#' in his password, and he had a few days of mild panic since
- I was away at the time -- if I had done that as 'root', there
- would have been real trouble. An SR was entered (# 5003078022), but
- since all my Calls/SRs have been cancelled by HP, someone else will have
- to enter a new one for any action to ever be taken.

- You can use "funny" characters if you put a '\' in front of them
- when typing the password to the "Password:" prompt at login time.
