  14. Just in case it was the way that I compiled up R5 that was causing the
  15. problems with the server speed, I just took the pre-compiled R5 server
  16. from iworks.ecn.uiowa.edu and tried that.  It on average ran at about
  17. 1/2 to 2/3 the speed of my R5 server, even slower still than my
  18. server...  It looks like a Sun3 on a bad day!

  20. Maybe it gets slower every time anyone compiles it... ;-)

  22. I also see enourmous numbers of "pow: DOMAIN error" while running the
  23. x11perf on the HP R5 server, (both HP's and mine), but not on HP's R4
  24. server, nor on R5 on any other machine.
