- I hate this too. I'm nervous since I don't know what sort of blocking
- factor I'm using when using Ultrix's dump and would like to make sure I'm
- using something optimal (8K bytes) for my Exabyte 8200 drive.
-
- Is it safe to to get BSD4.3 dump/rdump
- (ftp.uu.net:/packages/bsd-sources/sbin/dump) and use that under Ultrix 4.2A?
-
- Obiligatory whine: I end up replacing a lot of Ultrix utilities with BSD
- stuff (and other stuff, including GNU) every time I do an Ultrix
- installation. I seem to do less replacing under SunOS 4.[12]. Why can't
- Ultrix be at least BSD4.3-reno-ish?
