  15.     I've got two 2 Gig 8mm drives, both on DECstation 5000s. Can anybody
  16. tell me why I might be having problems reading a tape (or tapes, using "tar")
  17. on one of the Decs that was written on the other?  The tape(s) I can't read
  18. _can_ be read on other Sun and Dec workstations so I know the tapes are OK.
  19. I am aware that the only 8mm tape manufacturer is Exabyte.  Are there known
  20. compatibility problems encountered due to vendor modifications to drives
  21. or drivers (i.e. ADS, Falcon, Mountain)?
