  18. I have a problem with an RZ24 internal disk, in that I
  19. cannot read it. I really need the stuff on this disk
  20. and I was wondering if anyone out there could help me
  21. out...

  24.  When I fsck I get the following informative
  25. message:
  26. > fsck /dev/rz2a
  27.   RZ24 unit 2: retryerr, SnsKey = MEDIUM ERROR,
  28.    AddSnsCode = 0x11, LogBlkAddr = 16, 
  29.    Dev = rz2a, SectNum = 16.

  31. or with alternate super block:
  32. > fsck -b 32 /dev/rz2a

  37. Chpt tells me it cannot read the super block,
  38. and when in multiuser mode,

  46. THE FOLLOWING SECTORS COULD NOT BE READ: 16, 17, 18, 19,
  47. 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31,
  48.  
  49. Now this looks pretty serious to me... :-(
  50. Any help would be most appreciated.
