- Yah, the market is pretty confused, wanting DOS, Windows, OS/2,
- Windows/NT, UNIX, ULTRIX, OSF/1, DG-UX, HP-UX, SunOS, Solaris, SCO,
- VMS, RSTS, VM, MVS, MPE, etc., etc., etc. DEC should force the entire
- market to use one operating system by only supporting <take your pick>
- on the Alpha systems. 8-) Try and tell me that wouldn't go over like a
- lead balloon.

- Sure, you can count far more than three if you include DOS, OS/2 *,
- Windows *, and UNIX * as separate operating systems. I wouldn't be
- quite so generous! You may not think it's of value, but the ability
- to run VMS on an Intel x86 or Px is something that will, IMHO, never
- see the light of day. So given that Alpha supports Windows/NT, OSF/1,
- and VMS, it has a leg up on Intel in that respect, IMHO.
