- Ok. I have lots of questions and some will be in later posts as I am pushed for
- time right now...
-
- 1. How do you download files from atari.archive?
- It may not be as bad as that. I FTP them (in binary mode) to a Sun. Kermit
- them to a PC to get them on a floppy and bung it in my ST. The problem is when
- I try to decode them (with arc or zoo or lzh) it gives various errors like bad
- crc check etc and gives up. I download files in exactly the same way from
- pdsoft (good place!) and they work fine. What am I doing wrong?
-
- 2. I have heard from several people about newly released computers having lots
- of bugs in. Will this be true for the Falcon? If so, how long do I wait to buy
- one? (I really would love to get my hands on one of these!!!). If you get one
- with bugs, what can you do about it?
-
- Must go now...

- suggestion sir, with only two drawbacks: one,we don't have any defensive shields
- and two,we don't have any defensive shields.I know that,technically,that's only
- one drawback, but it was such a big one I thought I'd mention it twice".
