- I had similar problems when I tried to dump it. Sometimes I'd get it to find
- loadup.el, but it would then fail to find an (apparently) random file later on.
- In the end I got round this by using a different shell (the somewhat brain-dead
- Batcher (no offence Hisoft, the rest of the packages is superb) that comes with
- Lattice C). Even dumping manually didn't seem to help. It looks as though (at
- a guess) the dumping code in Emacs itself is broken, possibly its trampling
- on the environment at some point, or possibly just overwriting its local copy
- of where the lisp files are stored.
