  31.      Isn't this what Chuck Steinman of Dataque was going to do, but with
  32. a 65816? This would be a really neat project, if we could get the
  33. circuit boards printed up. I have an extra 800xl with all the chips
  34. socketed, so it would be really easy to transplant the chips. While you
  35. are at it, might as well use a 65802 (65c02 pin-compatible).

  37.      I guess it was economically feasible for Dataque to produce their
  38. own next generation XE. (But I do see some sort of market for a <$150
  39. home computer, with diskdrive.)

  41.      Has anybody thought of what could be done if you added a second
  42. GTIA? (I read that this is what the 7800 uses for graphics.)

  49.      I don't understand why they haven't released a lot of things now
  50. that they don't support the 8-bits anymore. Interesting note though, in
  51. the latest Atari Explorer Online, they said they sold the remaining
  52. 8-bits, 2600, and 7800 overseas and in South America.
