  12. Hi netters -
  13.    I have an old xm301 modem (I think) on my 800xl that still works fine,
  14. but v-e-r-y s-l-o-w (about 300 baud!).  Is there any way to speed it up
  15. by replacing a clock chip, or something?  As many have already pointed
  16. out, it's hard to spend hundreds on 850's and modems, for old hardware.
  17.    Has this been done?
