- I read this group for informational text. If a binary file appears, it is
- just an annoyance to those who are not interested in it. When
- there is a text message that seems uninteresting, at least it is readable.
- With a binary newsgroup, one could just read the titles, then go back and
- save those messages/files that were desired.
