  18. I read this group for informational text.  If a binary file appears, it is
  19. just an annoyance to those who are not interested in it.  When
  20. there is a text message that seems uninteresting, at least it is readable.
  21. With a binary newsgroup, one could just read the titles, then go back and
  22. save those messages/files that were desired.
