- I called ECON about AutoArc. They are trying to get it ready for release
- before AppleFest -East (in Oct. I think). It isn't really like AutoDoubler
- on the Mac but more like DiskDoubler. It is a finder extension/CDEV combo
- which allows you to compress files by "selection". However, files will
- automatically decompress when double clicked ( AWGS data files for example).

- I think this is better than an AutoDoubler type of program due to the CPU
- constraints of the IIgs.

- (... by "selection" is pretty vague. What I mean is that you select the
- compress option from the Extras menu in the Finder and AutoArc will go to
- work! I didn't get any further details than this but the program does look
- promising).
