- Actually, in previous years Apple has kept on 'upgrading' what Mac they feel
- is an appropriate filesharer. It all depends on what YOU would be satisfied
- with. I find it interesting that the most cost effective Macs right now seem
- to be Powerbooks.

- Since the Powerbook 140 has sort of been discontinued, it would probably be a
- available at reasonable prices (I've seen it for $1719 in the 4Megs of
- Ram/40Meg hard drive configuration).

- Otherwise, the SE/030 is a decent choice, if you find one that somebody is
- selling. The equivalent Mac (still in production) with that type of performance
- is probably the Classic II.
