  17. Number one. Yes. It is available and has been for a LONG time. This note is a
  18. little confusing and is just ONE of the reasons that GS's are referred to as
  19. Rom 01 GS's or Rom 03 GS's. The ORIGINAL GS's had a Rom sometimes called the
  20. first Rom or the Rom 00 GS. Apple made fixes and changes and produced a new
  21. Rom, i.e the 2nd Rom for GS's and after this Rom is installed you have a Rom
  22. 01 GS. Rom 03 GS's are different beasties with a completely different
  23. motherboard.

  31. Hey! Don't shrug off Insync, they wrote the program and the program was
  32. designed to work (in hardware handshaking mode) with the cables diagrammed in
  33. the manual. Works fine on my systems, btw.

  38. Different cable configurations...different software...er, have you tried doing
  39. a self test? Have you disabled all extra drivers, shift booted your gs and
  40. tried Proterm with the cable diagrammed in the manual?
