- Best Upgrades:
- 1. A RamWorks 1MB memory card. Critical to making AppleWorks run well.
- 2. an SCSI Hard Drive. Alternatively, one of the internal power supply
- replacement/HD's, like the AE VULCAN or the InnerDrive.
- 3. 3.5" disk drives.

- Appleworks is, IMHO, the best single program EVER WRITTEN for a computer.
- It'll do almost everything, especially when expanded with the TimeOut
- utilities. But it takes a lot of memory and almost REQUIRES 3.5 inch disks
- to work well.

- As a complete alternative; your system as set up is worth perhaps $400.
- Depending on your tax bracket, it might be more adventagous to donate it
- to a local school for the tax write-off. Remember that most schools still
- depend on Apple II systems; it would be welcomed.
