- We have recently upgraded to 10.4 and OCCASIONALLY when we login
- the shell is not able to exec anything (except built-in shell commands).
- Thus 'cd' works but 'ls' fails with the error message
-
- 'ls : Command not found.'
-
- Even '/bin/ls' fails.
- However subshells do work, e.g.
- '(cd /bin ; ./ls )'
- works fine.
-
- What's happened? I suspect it's specifically a C-shell problem, because
- when I use Korn shell it's never occurred.
