  26. In summary (to save even bigger fools as me from themselves, if any exist):

  28. The internal SCSI cable in 425e's is back-to-front. To make one of these,
  29. you start with a perfectly good SCSI cable, which has pin 1 on one plug
  30. connected to pin 1 on the other. Then you 'shave' off the little bump on one
  31. of the connectors and plug it in 'upside down'. Voila!

  33. Now if only I could understand why HP has done it... then I would quit my
  34. job and seek employment with them.
