- Scenario: Have a 2000 with an 040, Toaster and a DCTV. Can't afford
- a single frame record deck. Need to do single frame recording
- Compromise: Try to get decent frame rate from DCTV anims.
- Results: Way too slow on the 2000 with 040.

- Hi. I have a DCTV and the money to buy a machine (3000 or 4000), but
- I have nowhere near the amount of money needed to buy a single frame
- record deck. What I want to know is what sort of frame rate I can
- expect to get with an Amiga 3000/4000. I know that the 32 bit access
- to CHIP should make a significant difference. Even my 040 2000 is
- dog slow. Could somebody with a 3000 or hopefully 4000 and DCTV
- play a decent sized collection of anims (with varying deltas)
- and give me the results, ie can you get 30 frames a second with
- large deltas? I will post any results I may get.
-
- PS- Please use anims with non-trivial deltas and full overscan.
