- You're both right. The 68010 pushes enough information onto the stack after
- receiving a "bus error" indication that it can restart the failing
- instruction. That is, it can stop in the middle of an instruction when an
- external MMU detects a page fault, make the page accessable, and then resume
- the instruction. At the time the 68010 can out, manufacturers had to design
- their own Memory Management Units. The Sun-2 workstations (which ran
- VM-UNIX) consisted of a 68010 and Sun's proprietary MMU.
