- The other day I FTP'ed SiliconMenus from amiga.physik and instantly fell in
- love with the pop-up-menu feature. The problem is, I also rely HEAVILY on
- ToolsDaemon 2.0b and these two utils do NOT coexist peacefully. I can't
- exactly explain what's going wrong, but here's what happens: After
- starting an application and using the pop-up-menus a bit, my resident Avail
- command becomes corrupted (I run a cron program that cleans my VD0: every
- minute and flushes my memory every 5 mins.) and hits me with a recoverable
- error. I've tried the program PopUpMenu and even the older, more OS
- "legal" version of ToolsDaemon, and the same thing happens. But, without
- ToolsDaemon running, SiliconMenus works perfectly. Is anyone else having
- problems experiencing problems with SiliconMenus and a similar Tools menu
- utility? Is there something I can do to fix this (aside from giving up
- ToolsDaemon)? As always, thanks in advance...
