  12. I've owned an a500 since '87, and it's been marred by a quite irritating
  13. hardware "failure" since I bought it. The keyboard sometimes locks up and
  14. refuses any input from the user (i.e no characters appear on screen). The 
  15. caps lock key, flashes once a second while this is going on, and according
  16. to the Amiga Hardware Manual this means some RAM failure. This bug usually
  17. disappears after having the machine turned off a while. But, the worst of
  18. all is that the reset function is disabled, so I can't reset my machine
  19. at all. Is this as the Hardware Manual states, only a RAM failure, and in
  20. that case, how much repair is needed...is it worth the time and money?
