- SetCPU is a pd program written by Dave Haynie to manipulate the cache and burst
- modes in the cpu. It performs some other useful functions as well, such as
- allowing you to boot 1.3 on your machine. It has basically been replaced with

- The OS will automatically set up the Ramsey chip for best allround performance
- on the A3000 :-). However, 2.04 doesn't enable one of the burst modes in the

- Edit your user-startup file in the S: directory. Add the line

- CPU cache burst FASTROM

- This will result in best overall performance, but will chew up 512K of ram,
- so isn't that much use unless you have more than 1 meg of fastram.
