  11. I'm having a weird problem lately with my Amiga 2500-020 with 4 megs of 32 bit
  12. ram and 1 Meg chip ram. It has the venerable A2090 controller with the Rodime
  13. 40 Meg hard drive installed. Lately on bootup I've noticed that it takes about
  14. 5 to 10 seconds for each partition other than the boot partition to mount. I
  15. haven't changed anything in my startup-sequence recently. I've also gained
  16. about 4 hard errors on one partition. I backed it up and formatted it with
  17. Quarterback tools and it didn't seem to map them out so that they couldn't be
  18. used again.

  20. Anyways, to make a long story even longer. I've got two questions:

  22. Could one of the chips inside my computer be partially fried?
  23. What program can you use to map out bad sectors? (without having to reformat
  24. them...)
  25. Any help will be much appreciated...
