- I need to add more memory to my A3000 and I'm having trouble finding

- able to find nybble and page mode ZIP ram chips easily. I understand
- that the static column chips support burst mode and thus are 10% faster
- than the nybble & page mode chips. But I believe I've seen a post here
- on the Net which stated that due to a bug in the RAMSEY chips of early
- A3000s (like mine) that causes the burst mode not to be used. Can anyone
- especially from Commodore confirm this? Also could you give me the name
- and phone number of a company selling static column chips?

- Never heard anything about the RAMSEY problem. For pricing, just look in
- AmigaWorld, mainy mailorder places carry them. One place that always seems
- to have low prices and has been mentioned in the News groups before is
- Memory World (215)244-7930, A3000 Static column ZIPS $15.50 each.
