- Someting like Stacker or SuperStor is *painfully* needed on the Amiga.
- I use Stacker on several 486s storing mostly 24-bit Targa renderings, and
- get 1:1.5 to 1:1.8 average compression, and (believe it or not) *improved*
- hard disk access speeds, due to the smaller size of the files, and the speed
- of the processer. The Targa images are *all* in the run-length-encoded format.
