- Well, if you had checked the original poster's site name you would have noticed
- that he posted from an Air Force computer system, and not a college. I too
- work at an Air Force facility. The problem is that Kermit is the ONLY protocol
- we're allowed to use as it is considered secure and extremely bug resillient.
- I also use JR-Comm and have the same problem. The machine that I use for
- mailing and reading news only have xmodem and kermit on them, and neither
- will allow binary transfers. Therefor I usually have to ftp on other systems
- and then copy directly to an MS-Dos floppy and use Dos-2-Dos.

- If you find some way of doing Kermit on JR-Comm, please let me know. As far
- as using szrz on a government system, thats a BIG NO-NO!!!
