- Err? I think this is impossible.
- The 77 files per directory limit is not imposed by ADFS itself but some
- higher instance in the filing system hierarchy, FileCore, I guess. All
- entries of directory are stored in 2kB (fixed). This gives 26 bytes per
- entry plus a few bytes for extra purposes. There simply isn't enough
- room two accomodate more entries.
- Both on ADFS and SCSI I've run a couple of times into this annoying
- limit. On the other hand the fixed directory size allows for easier
- caching of directory entries -- compared to my Atari ST's DOS-like
- filing system RISC OS file management is blindingly fast.
