  13.            The INTEROP Conference Assessment Team (CAT)
  14.  
  15. Interop Company is seeking student volunteers to serve as quality
  16. control monitors for INTEROP 92 Fall, to be held in San Francisco,
  17. California, October 28-30, 1992.  This is a unique opportunity for
  18. students to attend the industry's premier networking conference and
  19. tradeshow, while helping us improve the quality and consistency of the
  20. conference.

  22. As a CAT member you will receive:
  23.  
  24. * Complimentary conference registration for all three conference days
  25.  
  26. * Complimentary conference notes (for your assigned conference, there
  27.   are actually 4 conferences within a conference this year).
  28.  
  29. * Complimentary lunch all three days
  30.  
  31. * Special INTEROP CAT T-shirts
  32.  
  33.  
  34. As a CAT member you will be asked to:
  35.  
  36. * Monitor preassigned conference sessions on 1 of the 3 conference
  37.   days, by submitting written reports and acting as the "eyes and ears"
  38.   of the conference organizers. We will provide you with a basic
  39.   evaluation form to aid the preparation of the reports.
  40.  
  41. (You will be free to attend any conference session and the INTEROP
  42. exhibition on your "days off.")
  43.  
  44. * Provide an accurate count of the number of people attending the
  45.   sessions you are assigned to. ("Clickers" will be provided!)
  46.  
  47. Successful CAT candidates will be students currently enrolled in a
  48. computer science or electrical engineering course at graduate or
  49. post-graduate level. Applicants should have some understanding of (and
  50. interest in) computer networking issues. All applications must be
  51. received by October 1, 1992.
