- Big Blue meets SNMP
-
- We are currently investigating IBM NetView/SNMP Network Management integration
- capabilities, both hardware and software solutions. I realize this is a fairly
- open-ended question, but does anyone have any knowledge of particular products
- that achieve some level of SNMP integration into the IBM NetView environment?
-
- I expect that most solutions will probably use NetView "Service Points" to
- provide an SNA-addressable entity which can pass information from the SNMP
- world to NetView and accept some kind of NetView commands to pass out to the
- SNMP world.
-
- Anyone with more information??
-
- Thanks very much in advance,
-
- Mark
