- I have noticed some strange behaviour between a pc client running pcnfs4.0a
- and its SUN IPX server. Specifically, ftp transfer rates depend upon the direction
- with transfers "FROM" the SUN to the pc take what seems to be 'forever'.
-
- An example:
-
- 12934 bytes received in 78.064100 seconds (0.16 kbytes/s) SUN -> PC
- The same file transfered in the other direction happens at a reasonable rate. >10kbtes/s.
- PC -> SUN.
-
- What could be causing this? It seems to be only for files > 1k and the system just
- looks inactive.
-
- Is their any way of determining where/what the problem may be? I'm stumped over this.
