  16. yes - we did it years ago - Bill Nowicki ran some tests of getting the
  17. parameters right from Sun to UCL

  19. you need ~1 sec retransmit timers, small blocksizes etc etc...

  21. it worked ok (on a 2*64kbps 5 site satellite system)

  23. remember if you dont have forward error correction on yr satellitew
  24. link, your error rates will be massive compared to what you are used
  25. to on terestrial links (e.g. 5%)
