  17. Perhaps you mean ISO 3166:1988. This standard defines 2 and 3 letter
  18. codes and a numeric code for each country (e.g. DE, DEU and 276 for Germany).
  19. You can buy it at your national standards body or perhaps order it in
  20. better bookstores.
