- Perhaps the following address should be added to the FAQ list as one possible
- source of the X.400, X.500, F.400, F.500 and X.200 standards printed in
- the 1988 CCITT Blue Book:
-
- International Telecommunication Union
- General Secretariat - Sales Section
- Place des Nations
- CH-1211 Geneva 20
-
- E.g. the reference of the X.500 standard is
-
- CCITT Blue Book, Volume VIII, Fascicle VIII.8, Data Communication
- Networks - Directory, Recommendations X.500-X.521, Geneva 1989,
- ISBN 92-61-03731-3, 20.- Sw.fr.
-
- They'll send you their 'List of Publications'. Don't forget that there
- is also an ISO version of the X.400/500 standard which you can buy at
- your national standards body. The ISO papers are MUCH more expensive, but
- define a few additional details relevant for privat networks.
