- This is the situation: There will be a LocalTalk (actually PhoneNet) net with
- four Mac's and a isolated 386 PC running SCO Unix. The PC is connected to
- the Mac's with serial lines to let the Mac's log in with a terminal program.
-
- What I would like is two things, run Telnet on the mac over LocalTalk instead
- of the terminal program over serial lines. I would also like to be able to
- back up Mac files on the tape drive connected to the PC.
-
- Is CAP supporting LocalTalk cards for the PC?
- Is there a way to connect with Telnet from the Mac using a LocalTalk
- card for the PC?
- Could I use SLIP or similar to use the serial port with CAP or Telnet?
