  13. COLUMBUS A Must is the name of a study tour committee from the
  14. Netherlands.  We are planning to visit the States in October 1993,
  15. where we`ll study the subject of MULTIMEDIA.

  17. In the USA we travel to New York, Boston and San Fransisco. If you have
  18. information about interesting projects at Universities or Companies in
  19. or near those cities, or know people that work in that area, we would
  20. be very glad if you would be so kind to mail us your information.

  22. The subjects of our interest are e.g.
  23.   - Gigabit networks
  24.   - Distributed operating systems
  25.   - Graphic and sound interfaces
  26.   - Object oriented databases
  27.   - etc. etc.

  29. The whole project will be supervised by prof. S. Mullender of the
  30. University of Twente.  Thirty students will participate.
  31.  
  32. Other interesting stuff is hotel information, the quality of public
  33. transportation in contrast to renting cars, and possible sponsors.
