- I am in need of some real help soon!
-
- While running OS/2 tonight, I attempted to open a dos window
- when problems began. The dos window opened, but none of the
- usueal info was dispayed. The prompt in the window was a C:
- prompt. Usually, It comes up much different because of some
- specififications in my autoexec. I thought the probem was in
- memory somewhere, so I decided to reboot. Upon rebooting, I
- recieved two error messages:
-
- SYS 03146
- SYS 02027
-
- Then the machine just sat there. Luckily I had an emergency
- disk ready, so I booted up to dos so that I could see what the
- hell the problem was. Upon viewing the root dir on drive C, I
- found all of the non write-protected files missing! What's
- worse is that I couldn't undlete all of them. What the hell
- is wrong?!?! I don't know all what files need to be in the
- root! Can anyone help me. IBM's tech support is calling me
- tomorrow. I didn't delete all of the files, I'm not that
- stupid!
-
-
- Many thanks to anyone who can offer some insights....
